Tender and lifting arrangement

The current hull-9 record identifies an ASTender 400 Center Console and a custom hydraulic Tenderlift. The final Tenderlift configuration is recorded with carbon/aluminium single straps, a straight platform arrangement and a maximum load of 350 kg.

The technical library also contains the ASTender electronics list, high-resolution wiring diagram and Mercury pre-delivery/registration records. Serial and registration information remains private.

Ground tackle

The hull-9 record specifies an 80 kg stainless-steel Ultra anchor, flip swivel, 75 m of 13 mm Cromox stainless chain and 25 m of rope as the principal mooring line. A windlass with chain counter and helm/locker controls is recorded. Final delivered ground tackle must still be physically matched to this design record.

Acceptance items

1. Weigh the tender in operating condition with fuel and normal carried equipment.
2. Verify Tenderlift safe working load, strap geometry, locks, limits and emergency recovery.
3. Establish whether personnel may ever occupy the tender during lift—default is no unless expressly approved.
4. Measure and mark the delivered anchor rode.
5. Calibrate the chain counter and prove local/remote windlass controls.
6. Verify bridle attachment, chafe protection and safe-load information.
7. Record outboard fuel, battery, kill-switch, fire and towing arrangements.

Record limitation

This page captures the design and equipment record. It does not authorize lifting, launch/recovery, anchoring or towing until the systems are commissioned and the crew procedure is demonstrated.
