Mediterranean islands, an Atlantic crossing, Caribbean anchorages—and a new route waiting beyond the yard in France.
The next Atlantic
Les Sables-d’Olonne to Miami.
The plan points south from France, around Spain and Portugal to the Canary Islands, then west across the Atlantic to St Lucia. From there we will work north through the islands and wait at Cat Cay for the right Gulf Stream window into Miami.
Autumn 2026
Leave France and settle into the new boat on the passage south.
November
Prepare in the Canary Islands, with Cabo Verde as an option if the route calls for it.
December
Turn west for St Lucia, then begin moving north through the Caribbean.
By February 7, 2027
Reach Cat Cay, take the Gulf Stream when it is ready and make landfall in Miami.
That is the route on paper. The route we actually sail will belong to the weather—as it always does.
