Rig and sail configuration
- Lacquered carbon mast, approximately 27.11 m, with carbon canoe boom in the current hull-9 record.
- Square-top mainsail and non-overlapping furling jib ordered in black Hydranet radial construction.
- Additional staysail and Parasailor handling provisions appear in the hull-9 configuration.
- Powered winches serve halyards, reefing, sheets, furling and mainsheet functions.
Running-rigging inventory
The vessel-specific inventory identifies the mainsail, genoa, gennaker and spinnaker halyards; mainsheet; gennaker and spinnaker sheets; Parasail control lines; traveller line; topping lift; three reefing lines; lazy jacks; bosun’s-chair and personnel halyards; Dyneema soft hardware; anchor rode; and trampoline lacing.
Most primary sail-handling lines are 14 mm. The inventory uses color flecks to distinguish critical lines and records Technora/Dyneema construction where low stretch and high load are required. Exact lengths, breaking loads and supplier references remain in the controlled parts register.
Documented milestone
Builder correspondence scheduled mast stepping for 28 July 2026; the photo record shows the mast-stepping operation on 30 July. That date proves the operation occurred, not that tuning, commissioning and every peripheral installation were complete.
Acceptance items
- Reconcile every line, clutch, winch and turning block to the running-rigging schedule.
- Record standing-rigging setup and the builder/rigger’s final tune.
- Prove furler limits, manual recovery and safe isolation.
- Mark reefing lines and verify reef geometry under controlled conditions.
- Establish powered-winch stop rules, overrides and hand-signal discipline.
- Inspect mast penetrations, lights, antennas, lightning provision and aloft-access equipment.
Controlling evidence
- July 2026 hull-9 configuration/status sheet.
- Carbon-mast rigging drawing, revision C, 11 March 2026.
- Privilege 650 Running Rigging Inventory — Lucky Enough and its source spreadsheet.
- Builder weekly and mast-stepping photo records.
Record limitation
The inventory is substantially complete, but the operational procedure remains blocked until the rig is tuned and sail handling is demonstrated aboard.
