Modification History & Voyage Knowledge Base

Volumes 11–12

The modification history records factory configuration, commissioning changes, owner modifications, software updates, engineering changes and material weight-and-balance changes.

The voyage knowledge base captures passage notes, lessons learned, maintenance history, failures, recommended procedures, performance observations and crew notes.

The rule

A lesson from experience is valuable evidence, but it is not automatically a universal procedure. The manual records what happened, what was confirmed, what remains uncertain and what should be tested next.

Selected lessons will also link to the public Journal and Learn sections so the story and the operating record remain connected without becoming confused.

Configuration timeline now established

• October 2022: first documented Privilege 650 hull-9 offer.
• May 27, 2024: fully executed replacement contract superseded earlier agreements.
• November 2025: current electrical synoptic provides the strongest available diagrammatic basis, subject to later configuration status.
• July 2026: owner inspection and late-build records document installed systems and equipment labels.
• August 2026: Builder’s Certificate and EU Declaration of Conformity establish the vessel identity and principal particulars.

Evidence ranking

1. Signed hull-9 certificate, declaration, contract or approved as-built drawing
2. Latest hull-9 configuration/status workbook or synoptic
3. Hull-9 builder correspondence and dated inspection photographs
4. Manufacturer manual matched to the installed model
5. Generic P650 material or another hull, used only as reference

Filename labels such as “OK” and an invoice do not prove installation, commissioning or acceptance. Later verified as-built evidence controls when sources conflict.
