Completion statement
This page is complete as the public identity and limitations record supported by the builder’s certificate and EU Declaration of Conformity issued in August 2026. Registration identifiers, serial numbers and security-sensitive particulars remain in the controlled vessel file.
Vessel identity
- Name: S/Y Lucky Enough
- Builder: Privilege Marine, Les Sables-d’Olonne, France
- Model: Privilege 650
- Build number: 9
- Type: rigid multihull sailing catamaran
- Hull construction stated in the declaration: glass/PVC foam/vinylester resin
- Propulsion: two Yanmar 4LV-150 diesel engines with shaft drives
Certified principal particulars
| Particular | Builder record |
|---|---|
| Hull length | 19.67 m |
| Beam | 9.20–9.21 m |
| Maximum draught | 2.04 m |
| Depth | 3.76 m |
| Projected sail area stated in the declaration | 236 m² |
| Maximum declared engine power | 2 × 142 kW |
The one-centimetre beam difference is reproduced honestly: the EU declaration states 9.20 m and the builder’s certificate states 9.21 m. The controlled record should retain both source values until the builder resolves the rounding convention.
Design categories and persons
The EU declaration states the following maximum recommended persons: Category A, 12; Category B, 12; Category C, 16; Category D, 18. It states a maximum load of 6,590 kg for each category.
These are certification maxima—not passage-planning recommendations. Weather, watchkeeping, berths, lifesaving equipment, stores, tank state, competence and the Master’s judgment may require a materially smaller complement.
Document status
- EU Declaration of Conformity: issued 18 August 2026.
- Builder’s Certificate: issued 18 August 2026; the file copy was supplied on 20 August.
- The certificate establishes construction and identity. It is not evidence that owner acceptance, handover, crew familiarization or every commissioning test was complete on that date.
Acceptance controls still kept private
The controlled onboard copy must reconcile the final registration, safety-equipment inventory, lightship/loading information, tank calibrations, acceptance certificate, commissioning defects and current equipment list. No public page publishes the vessel identification number, engine serial numbers, registration identifiers or security arrangements.
