Completion statement
This page is complete for its stated purpose: it records what the current hull-specific design evidence establishes about the air-conditioning configuration. It does not turn design evidence into an unverified operating procedure.
Confirmed by the hull-9 design record
- S/Y Lucky Enough was specified with two Webasto 50,000 BTU chilled-water plants in place of the standard single 77,000 BTU plant.
- The port central plant is assigned to the day-zone fan coils.
- The starboard central plant is assigned to the night-zone fan coils.
- The customization scope includes the additional 230 V supply and protection, seawater and glycol circuits, insulated ducting, fan coils and local controls needed for the two-plant arrangement.
Why the division matters
The vessel is not a single-plant installation. Any load analysis, fault isolation, spares plan or operating checklist must preserve the distinction between the port/day and starboard/night sides. A symptom affecting one zone must not automatically be described as failure of the entire HVAC system.
Operator-facing system boundary
The source confirms the plant arrangement and intended zoning. It does not provide enough evidence to publish breaker identifiers, valve positions, seawater routing, controller sequences, alarm meanings or restart steps. Those belong in the controlled crew copy after the as-installed commissioning package is reconciled aboard.
Commissioning acceptance items
Before a normal-operation checklist can be released, the controlled record must verify:
- installed equipment labels against the design record;
- which plant serves each fan coil in the finished vessel;
- seawater flow and discharge for each operating condition;
- glycol-loop fill, pressure and bleed condition;
- independent start, load and shutdown behavior for both plants;
- controller set-point and alarm behavior; and
- the electrical load of each plant under representative conditions.
Troubleshooting boundary
Loss of cooling can arise from power, seawater flow, chilled-water circulation, a fan coil, a local control or the central plant. Until the onboard system map and manufacturer fault codes are incorporated, this public record does not prescribe resets, bypasses or component replacement.

Record limitations
The filename includes “OK,” but that is the builder’s source-file status—not independent proof of final installation. Final authority requires the newest issued hull-9 drawing plus physical commissioning verification aboard.
