The Mast Goes In

The photo sequence records the carbon mast being lifted, aligned and stepped at Les Sables-d’Olonne on July 30, 2026. It was the most visually dramatic milestone since the hull left the mould—and it confirms the boat was afloat by this date. The builder had scheduled launch for July 23, but the exact launch date remains a planned date until a direct launch record is added.

Mast stepping did not by itself complete the rig. Standing and running rigging, lights, antennas, tuning and sail-handling commissioning still had to be finished and accepted.
